Results announcement of 5th Digital Short Video Competition

     The award presentation ceremony for the 5th Digital Short Video Competition of the "INNO-Action! HKBU Academy of Film Seeds Project" (Seeds Project) co-organised by the Government Youth Portal (Youth.gov.hk) and the Academy of Film of the School of Communication of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) was held today (July 12). The list of winners is attached.

     The award presentation ceremony was officiated by the Executive Director of Youth.gov.hk of the Efficiency Unit, Mr Ng Chi-keung; Associate Director of Academy of Film, School of Communication at HKBU, Mr Man Shu-sum; and the three adjudicators of the Seeds Project, Mr Tong Kay-ming, Mr Au Man-kit and Ms Mo Lai Yan-chi. A seminar titled "Meeting with the Judges" was also held after the award presentation ceremony for judges to share with students their experience of creative work.

     The Seeds Project is a creative training project for secondary school students. It is jointly organised by Youth.gov.hk and the Academy of Film of the School of Communication of HKBU, and is sponsored by Create Hong Kong. Now in its fifth year, the Digital Short Video Competition aims to nurture secondary school students' creativity and potential through creative filmmaking. The competition attracted a total of 110 entries, including 89 dramas and 21 documentaries, from 62 secondary schools.
