Police meet with Lam Wing Kee

Police met with Mr Lam Wing Kee again this morning (July 5) and recorded a statement. During the meeting, Mr Lam provided supplementary information on matters he mentioned earlier. As Mr Lam has other arrangements today, the meeting was held for about four hours and concluded. Police will meet with Mr Lam again.
There is no evidence to suggest that Mr Lam's personal safety is at risk at this stage. Police have made appropriate suggestions to Mr Lam and reminded him to call 999 for assistance if necessary.
Police will evaluate and take appropriate follow-up action according to the information provided by Mr Lam.
