Intake of first batch of residents at On Tat Estate (with photos)

     The first batch of residents at On Tat Estate, Anderson Road, Sau Mau Ping, Kwun Tong, Kowloon began moving into three of the domestic blocks from the middle of this month.

     All three domestic blocks - Oi Tat House, Shing Tat House and Chun Tat House - are 41 storeys high, providing a total of about 2 600 public rental housing (PRH) units for about 5 700 residents.

     Recreational facilities including outdoor play equipment, table-tennis tables and a badminton court were also opened at the same time.

     Starting from July 2016, the two-storey shopping centre will be handed over to commercial tenants in phases for fitting-out works, while a neighbourhood elderly centre, a neighbourhood family centre, an integrated children and youth services centre and two kindergartens will be completed in phases in the latter half of the year.

     The intake for the rest of the eight domestic blocks will also take place in phases in the latter half of the year. Upon completion of the intake for the entire estate, there will be around 9 400 PRH units for about 23 400 residents.
