No. 4 alarm fire at Ngau Tau Kok Road (3)

     A No. 4 alarm fire broke out at an industrial building at 7 Ngau Tau Kok Road on June 21. The fire was put under control at 7.38pm yesterday (June 24), and was largely put out at 11.15pm tonight (June 25).

     Firemen are now fighting the blaze by using four jets, two ground monitors, and mobilising 35 fire engines, two ambulances, 190 fire and ambulance services officers.

     Twelve fire services personnel had been sent to United Christian Hospital and Tseung Kwan O Hospital for treatment, among whom a senior station officer and a senior fireman passed away. The rest of them have been discharged.
