Lifts for Kwai Tsing elevated walkway planned

     The Government gazetted today (May 20) the proposed provision of barrier-free access facilities at the existing elevated walkway of Tsing Tsuen Bridge in Kwai Tsing District, including the installation of one lift near the Tsing Yi Promenade and another near Wing Shun Street.

     The works, which are part of the Universal Accessibility Programme, are set out in the Annex. Members of the public can inspect the plan and scheme of the works at the following government offices during office hours:

     Any person who wishes to object to the works or the use, or both, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 22/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong, on or before July 19, 2016.
