NPCSC Chairman attends welcome banquet (with photos/video)

    The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government hosted a welcome banquet in honour of the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Mr Zhang Dejiang, this evening (May 18).

    Following welcoming remarks by the Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, Mr Zhang addressed more than 400 guests attending the banquet at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. These guests included Principal Officials, Non-official Members of the Executive Council, Legislative Council Members, local dignitaries, consuls-general and representatives from various sectors of the community.
