The Labour Department (LD) will hold a Thematic Job Fair for Broadcasting Industry at Hong Kong East Job Centre in Wan Chai on April 7 (Thursday). This is the second job fair organised for former employees of Asia Television Limited (ATV) and other interested job seekers by the LD after the first thematic job fair on March 22.
A total of six broadcasting organisations will participate in the Job Fair, including I-Cable Communications Limited, Le Shi Internet Information & Technology (Hong Kong) Limited, PCCW Services Limited, PCCW Solutions Limited, Television Broadcasts Limited and Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK). The five private organisations will provide about 300 vacancies for interested job seekers, including the employees of ATV, to apply and attend on-the-spot interviews. In addition, RTHK will set up a booth at the venue to provide information on its job openings and application procedures.
The vacancies offered by the participating organisations cover a wide range of positions in the broadcasting industry such as producer, production assistant, content programming, designer, engineer, technician and IT officer, as well as administrative, sales and clerical positions. The Job Fair will be held from 10am to 4pm at Hong Kong East Job Centre, 34/F, Revenue Tower, 5 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai. Interview time slots will be allocated by distributing chits on a first-come, first-served basis on the spot. Admission is free and no reservation is required.
