Following is the transcript of remarks by the Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, at a media session in Beijing this evening (March 6):
Reporter: Mr Leung, how would you follow up on Mr Zhang's comments in light of the Mong Kok protest after he said it has tarnished Hong Kong's reputation?
Chief Executive: Well, we have done a lot. There are plenty of opportunities that Hong Kong has, including opportunities provided by the Central Authorities and the country as a whole. Opportunities under the 13th Five-Year Plan. Opportunities under CEPA, which are privileges afforded to Hong Kong. Opportunities under "Belt and Road" initiative. So all these are up to Hong Kong people, in the words of the Chairman of the NPC , the President of NPC, for Hong Kong people to grasp.
