The Leisure and Cultural Services Department today (January 26) announced that the Butterfly Estate, Lek Yuen, Sha Tau Kok, Shek Wai Kok, Tai O and Tin Shui Wai North public libraries will close at 1pm on Lunar New Year's Eve (February 7), while other public libraries (including Hong Kong Central Library and mobile libraries) will close at 5pm.
All public and mobile libraries and students' study rooms will be closed from February 8 to 10.
Library mobile app services, Internet and telephone renewal services and other online library services, including the library catalogue, borrowers' record enquiries, reservation of library materials and the Multimedia Information System as well as electronic resources (e-Books and e-Databases), will be suspended from 5.30pm on February 7 to February 10.
