Brand Hong Kong (BrandHK) today (December 1) launched a Facebook page to boost international promotion of Hong Kong as Asia's world city.
BrandHK will upload content that promotes Hong Kong's strengths and advantages, including the Brand's core values (enterprising, excellence, free, innovative, quality living) and attributes (connected, cosmopolitan, diverse, dynamic, secure).
The FB page is targeted mainly at overseas audiences including entrepreneurs, young executives and business people, professionals, investors, start-ups, creative class and students.
The FB page is part of ongoing government efforts to use social media platforms to reach out to audiences around the world.
The new platform is managed by the BrandHK Management Unit of the Information Services Department.
BrandHK is a strategic communications programme that promotes Hong Kong as "Asia's world city".
BrandHK's visual identity is a stylised "flying dragon", a mythical and powerful icon that links the city's historic past with its energetic modernity.
