The Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) today (November 19) signed a consultancy agreement with Maurice Lee and Associates Limited for carrying out the design and construction supervision of the improvement works for the mountain bike trail (MBT) networks in south Lantau.
The works mainly include improving several sections of the existing MBTs from Mui Wo to Pui O, from Pui O to Kau Ling Chung, and in Chi Ma Wan as well as provision of a gathering place at the Chi Ma Wan MBT western trail head with associated supporting facilities such as information and educational kiosks.
The works are targeted for completion by the end of next year.
