"Room to Play" to explore world of fun and adventure (with photo)

"International Man of Mirth" Rob Torres will perform the clown theatre show "Room to Play" from December to January next year. The performance promises to take audiences into a funny and adventure-filled world.

This one-man theatre show will go on a journey into the world of a character who speaks his own language, builds his home out of a suitcase, and invites audiences in to play. When audiences join Torres in this world of fun, anything can happen.

"Room to Play" was created by Torres and directed by Avner Eisenberg and Sigfrido Aguilar. It has been presented worldwide and has found great success.

Torres has travelled to more than 45 countries to perform in theatres, circuses, variety shows, galas, TV shows and films. Torres has masterfully blended his formal training in theatre, circus arts and pantomime to create entertaining and memorable acts.

Torres began to travel around the world with the Clyde Beatty Cole Bros Circus in 1992. In the first season it toured 121 cities in the United States and performed over 550 shows. After performing in different continents, Torres returned to the United States and later created seven specialty shows for the Walt Disney World resort in Orlando, Florida. Torres then travelled to Tokyo, Japan, where he stayed for two years and performed in television shows and theatre.
