The "World Cultures Festival 2015 - A Decade of Exquisite Arts" opened tonight (October 16) at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. Officiating at the opening ceremony was the Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Lau Kong-wah.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Lau said that the Leisure and Cultural Services Department has been hosting the biennial World Cultures Festival since 2005. A live band and a vocalist added to the sizzling atmosphere, delivering original works and classics including Matos Rodríguez's "La Cumparsita" and Astor Piazzolla's "Oblivion".
