Land Registry launches land register e-Alert service

     The Land Registry recently launched the land register e-Alert service for subscription by property owners. Subscribers will receive notification about the progress of registration of instruments affecting their properties.

     During the subscription period, the Land Registry will notify subscribers by email when instruments affecting their properties have been lodged for registration and when the instruments are registered. Information including the date of delivery of the instrument and its nature will be listed in the notification.

     Members of the public who wish to subscribe to the e-Alert service can obtain the application form at the Land Registry's Customer Centre on 19/F, Queensway Government Offices, 66 Queensway, Hong Kong, and the New Territories Search Offices, or from the Land Registry's website ( The completed form should be submitted to the Customer Centre at Queensway Government Offices or any of the New Territories Search Offices.
