The Land Registry today (July 6) released its statistics for the first half of 2015.
Land registration
-----------------
* The number of sale and purchase agreements for all building units received for registration for the first half of 2015 was 43,636 (-7.7 per cent compared with the second half of 2014 but +27.6 per cent compared with the first half of 2014).
* The total consideration for these agreements for the first half of 2015 was $311.50 billion (-7 per cent compared with the second half of 2014 but +46.6 per cent compared with the first half of 2014).
* The number of assignments of building units for the first half of 2015 was 53,238 (+0.5 per cent compared with the second half of 2014 and +36.3 per cent compared with the first half of 2014).
* The total consideration for these assignments for the first half of 2015 was $311.97 billion (+7.6 per cent compared with the second half of 2014 and +58.3 per cent compared with the first half of 2014).
Land search

* The number of searches of land registers made by the public for the first half of 2015 was 2,480,710 (+2.6 per cent compared with the second half of 2014 and +14.2 per cent compared with the first half of 2014).
