The Lands Department today (June 17) announced that the tender for a site, Tuen Mun Town Lot No. 500 at Kwun Chui Road, Area 56, Tuen Mun, New Territories, has been awarded to Fortune Choice Development Limited (parent company: Henderson Land Development Company Limited) on a 50-year land grant at a premium of $3,628.9 million.
"Authority from the Central Tender Board was given to the Lands Department to award the site to the highest tenderer," a Lands Department spokesman said.
The tenderers, other than the successful tenderer, in alphabetical order, with the name of the parent company where provided by the tenderer in brackets, were:
(1) Asia Bright Development Limited (Sino Land Company Limited, K. Wah International Holdings Limited, Manhattan Garments (International) Limited and Wing Tai Properties Limited)
(2) Big Chance Corporation Limited (Emperor International Holdings Limited and Grand Ming Group Holdings Limited)
(3) Citypoint Investment Limited (Cheung Kong Property Holdings Limited)
(4) Golden Centurion Limited (Wheelock Properties Limited)
(5) Super Great Limited (Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited)
(6) Super Record Limited (New World Development Company Limited)
(7) Teampearl Company Limited (Far East Consortium International Limited)
(8) Time Fort Limited (K&K Property Holdings Limited)
Tuen Mun Town Lot No. 500 has a site area of about 24,336 square metres and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 43,776 sq m and 72,960 sq m respectively.
