Community thematic carnival "Wonderful Moments" to be held at Tsuen Wan Park this Sunday (with photo)

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department will hold the community thematic carnival "Wonderful Moments" at the Tsuen Wan Park Amphitheatre this Sunday (May 17) from 3.30pm to 6pm. The carnival will feature Western pop songs from the 1950s to 1980s and demonstrations of items from the local intangible cultural heritage.

     The carnival line-up includes famous singer Joe Junior, who will perform at the finale, charming singer Peric Lee and singer-song-writers Olga Chung and Kylie Choy, and performances by up-and-coming local youth groups including saxophone, ukulele, strings, and Chinese and Western instrumentals. All-time favourites by the Carpenters, Frank Sinatra, Andy Williams and other popular singers will delight the audience.

     The Carnival will also feature demonstrations of items from the local intangible cultural heritage including milk tea in the Hong Kong style, maltose candy figures and dough sculpting for public enjoyment.
