Standard Working Hours Committee launches thematic exhibition on working hours issues

The following is issued on behalf of the Standard Working Hours Committee:

     Members of the public are invited to visit a thematic exhibition on working hours issues organised by the Standard Working Hours Committee (SWHC), to be held at Tsz Wan Shan Shopping Centre on May 16 and 17.

     At the exhibition, the SWHC will display panels with information on various working hours issues and broadcast a TV promotional video, entitled "Get to Know Standard Working Hours", to enhance public understanding on the subject of working hours. A comic book entitled "Touring around the World of Working Hours" and a DVD of "Get to Know Standard Working Hours" will also be distributed. In addition, a quiz game will be held during the exhibition and participants will receive SWHC souvenirs.

     The exhibition will be held at Venue C1, 3/F, Tsz Wan Shan Shopping Centre, 23 Yuk Wah Street, Tsz Wan Shan, Kowloon, from 11am to 8pm. Admission is free.

     Chaired by Dr Leong Che-hung, the SWHC comprises members drawn from the labour and business sectors, academia, the community and the Government. For details, please refer to the SWHC website (
