The Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Gregory So, will depart for Kuala Lumpur tomorrow (April 25) to join the Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, to attend the 12th Association of Southeast Asian Nations Leadership Forum hosted by the Asian Strategy & Leadership Institute on April 26.
Upon arrival, Mr So will have a bilateral meeting with the Minister of International Trade and Industry, Malaysia, Dato' Sri Mustapa Mohamed, to exchange views on trade and industry issues of mutual concern.
Mr So will return to Hong Kong on April 27. The Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Godfrey Leung, will be the Acting Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development during Mr So's absence.
