Chief Executive's Office statement
**********************************

Mr Chung Kin-leung, in his media interview conducted the other day, claimed that he was the "head chef" at Government House (GH). The Chief Executive's Office stated today (March 25) that the title of Mr Chung when he left GH in 2013 was Domestic Staff II. He worked at the kitchen of GH but was not the "head chef".

Mr Chung said in the interview that the Chief Executive and Mrs Leung asked for their son (Leung Chuen-yan) and daughters (Leung Chai-yan and Leung Chung-yan) to be called "master" and "lady". The Chief Executive and Mrs Leung have never made such a request. In fact, the overseas domestic helpers only called them by their names prior to the family's move to Government House.
