OFNAA's radio drama to promote "Healthy Information . Healthy Life"
******************************************************

The Office for Film, Newspaper and Article Administration (OFNAA) and Metro Broadcast Corporation Limited will jointly present a new radio drama "I Have A Dream". Through an interesting and inspiring story, it seeks to remind young people to stay away from unhealthy information and violent electronic games, and to further enhance public understanding of the Control of Obscene and Indecent Articles Ordinance (COIAO).

Starring famous singers Kandy Wong, Kenny Chan of C AllStar and Di2da, the eight-episode radio drama will be broadcast in the programmes "Allstar Flagstore" and "Lonely Phone" on Metro Info at 4.15pm and 11pm respectively from March 23 to 30.

In "I Have A Dream", the three characters have a keen interest in singing, performing magic tricks and dancing, and participate in a contest to demonstrate their talent. Despite the adversities and temptations they encounter, they manage to hold onto their beliefs and principles and win the contest through supporting each other.

After each episode, audiences will have a chance to win fantastic prizes by participating in a quiz game at the thematic website (www.metroradio.com.hk/997/Ihaveadream) from March 23 onwards.

Each year, OFNAA organises a series of public education programmes to promote public understanding of the COIAO, including the Healthy Information Student Ambassadors Scheme; roving drama performances for schools; the Healthy Internet Video Contest; the Healthy Mobile Phone/Tablet Apps Nomination Programme; the Meritorious Websites Contest; slogan and poster colouring competitions; and over 100 talks on the proper use of the Internet for students and parents.
