Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tsing Yi today (March 12) in which two men, aged 27 and 28, died.
At about 4.40am, a private car driven by the 27-year-old man was travelling along Container Port Road South towards Kwai Chung. When approaching a roundabout near Container Terminal 8, it reportedly rammed onto the kerb and a bridge column, and then caught fire.
Firemen put out the fire, and then found the bodies of the 27-year-old driver and a 28-year-old male passenger in the car.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South, are underway.
