LegCo President begins visit to Japan (with photo)

The following is issued on behalf of the Legislative Council Secretariat:
The President of the Legislative Council (LegCo), Mr Jasper Tsang, began his five-day visit to Japan today (March 9).
Mr Tsang arrived at Tokyo this afternoon and later attended a dinner hosted by the Chairman of the Japan-Hong Kong Parliamentarian League (JHKPL), Mr Masahiko Koumura. Joined by other members of the JHKPL, they exchanged views on issues of mutual concern including the latest developments of Hong Kong and how to further strengthen the relations between the two Legislatures.
Mr Tsang will continue his visit to Japan tomorrow.
