Special stamp issue: "Heartwarming" (with photos)
*************************************************

Hongkong Post today (January 28) announced that a set of special stamps, "Heartwarming", will be released for sale with associated philatelic products on February 12 (Thursday).

February 14th is Valentine's Day in the West, a time at which people send loving words and warm blessings to their loved ones. To celebrate this special day, Hongkong Post is issuing a set of six Heartwarming stamps featuring different heart-shaped designs.

On top of the conventional four-colour lithography printing, an embossing effect has also been employed to charmingly highlight the heart theme. In keeping with this traditionally popular theme, Hongkong Post is pleased to introduce a newly designed mini-pane with different-sized heart motifs in muted colour tones to echo the stamp design.

The Customised Service for Heartwarming Stamps is also available for personalised photos or messages to be tagged to the stamps. These stamps are ideal presents to convey your affection, infinite care and good wishes to your loved one for Valentine's Day on February 14th.

Official First Day Covers will be on sale at $1.20 each at all post offices from tomorrow (January 29). The stamps and the associated philatelic products will be displayed at the General Post Office, Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office, Tsuen Wan Post Office, Sha Tin Central Post Office and Tuen Mun Central Post Office from the same day. Advance orders for servicing self-provided covers will be accepted at all philatelic offices from tomorrow to February 4.

Information about this special stamp issue and associated philatelic products is available from Hongkong Post's website at www.hongkongpost.hk and via the Hongkong Post Mobile App.
