The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, will pay a duty visit to Beijing from December 25 to 26.
During his visit, Mr Leung will meet with state leaders and brief them on the latest economic, social and political developments in Hong Kong.
The Chief Executive will be accompanied by the Director of the Chief Executive's Office, Mr Edward Yau; the Director of Information Services, Mr Patrick Nip; the Private Secretary to the Chief Executive, Mr Carlson Chan; the Senior Special Assistant to the Chief Executive, Mr Chan Kin-ping; and the Assistant Director (Media), Mr Anson Lai.
Mr Leung will return to Hong Kong in the evening of December 26. During his absence, the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mrs Carrie Lam, will be the Acting Chief Executive.
