Tender awarded for site in Lei Yue Mun

     The Lands Department today (December 17) announced that the tender for a site, Yau Tong Inland Lot No. 42 at Lei Yue Mun Path, Lei Yue Mun, Kowloon, has been awarded to Henmell Investment Limited (parent company: Kowloon Development Company Limited) on a 50-year land grant at a premium of $1,582 million.

     "Authority from the Central Tender Board was given to the Lands Department to award the site to the highest tenderer," a Lands Department spokesman said.

     The tenderers, other than the successful tenderer, in alphabetical order, with the name of the parent company where provided by the tenderer in brackets, were:

     Yau Tong Inland Lot No. 42 has a site area of about 3,240 square metres and is designated for non-industrial (excluding godown, hotel and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 17,496 sq m and 29,160 sq m respectively, both including the gross floor area of a public vehicle park to be constructed by the purchaser. The total number of residential units to be built shall not be less than 345.
