Special traffic arrangements on Hong Kong Island

     Police will implement special traffic arrangements tomorrow (December 7) to facilitate a public procession starting from Eastern District to Central and Western District.
     The following roads will be intermittently closed from 2pm until the crowd is dispersed:
- Marble Road;
- Kam Hong Street;
- Westbound King¡¦s Road;
- Westbound Causeway Road;
- Westbound Irving Street;
- Northbound Pennington Street;
- Westbound Yee Wo Street;
- Westbound Hennessy Road;
- Westbound Queensway;
- Westbound Queen¡¦s Road Central;
- Westbound Queen¡¦s Road West; and
- Western Street.
     Vehicles may not be permitted to leave the car parks along the procession route during the road closure period.
     Actual implementation of the traffic arrangements will be made depending on traffic and crowd conditions in the areas. As it is anticipated that the traffic in the vicinity will be extremely busy during the road closure period, Police appeal to members of the public to avoid driving to the affected areas. Motorists are advised to drive with care and patience and follow the instruction of the Police at scene.
