The Hospital Authority (HA) today (November 28) published the new issue of the biannual "Medication Safety Bulletin" (MSB), which is one of the Authority's regular publications to promote risk management among health-care professionals in public hospitals.
The latest issue encourages front-line staff to report Adverse Drug Reactions for the purpose of drug safety surveillance. The bulletin also reports the endorsement of standardised dispensing practice for the oral anticoagulant Warfarin in all HA pharmacies by the HA Drug Management Committee.
Snapshots of the Annual Medication Safety Forum 2014 held in November are featured in this issue, in addition to sharing of the presentations of various speakers of the Forum online.

MSB is published every six months, on the last Fridays of May and November. The next issue will be published on May 29, 2015.
