The Chief Secretary for Administration, Mrs Carrie Lam; the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Professor K C Chan; the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Gregory So; and the Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Raymond Tam, will attend the first meeting of the Inter-ministries Joint Conference on the Promotion of the Development of Qianhai, Nansha and Hengqin in Guangdong, chaired by the National Development and Reform Commission on Tuesday (November 25) afternoon, after attending the 18th Beijing-Hong Kong Economic Co-operation Symposium in Beijing.
The meeting will be attended by senior representatives of relevant ministries of the State Council, the Guangdong Provincial Government, the Shenzhen Municipal Government, the Guangzhou Municipal Government, the Zhuhai Municipal Government as well as the Hong Kong and Macao SAR Governments.
Mr So will depart for Seoul, Korea to continue duty visit and Mr Tam will return to Hong Kong in the evening on the same day. Mrs Lam and other members of the delegation will return to Hong Kong on the following day (November 26).
