Tenders invited for advertising area licence and shop tenancy

     The Government Property Agency is inviting tenders for a licence of the advertising areas on the external boundary walls of the Police Officers' Club at Hung Hing Road, Causeway Bay, and a tenancy of a government property at Shop No. 1, 1/F, Central Terminal Building, Central Pier 8, Central.

     The property in Causeway Bay should be used for the purpose of installation, operation, management, maintenance and control of the Advertising Display Systems only, while the property in Central should be used for the purposes of bank, retail shop and service trades (excluding temple, shop for retailing or wholesaling of coffin, fast food shop, restaurant, godown, hotel, cinema, off-course betting centre, residential, office and any offensive trade as defined under the Public Health and Municipal Services Ordinance (Cap. 132), any regulations made thereunder and any amending legislation).

     The tender notice was gazetted today (November 14). Tender documents are available for collection at the Government Property Agency, 31/F, Revenue Tower, 5 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, during office hours (8.30am to 5.45pm from Mondays to Fridays). The documents can also be downloaded from the Agency's website: www.gpa.gov.hk .

     Interested bidders who wish to inspect the site have to make prior appointment with the Government Property Agency by calling 2594 7697 on or before November 27 this year for the property in Causeway Bay, and on or before December 1 this year for the property in Central.

     Bidders must submit their tenders by placing them in the Government Logistics Department Tender Box at the ground floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong, before noon on December 9 this year. Late tenders will not be accepted.
