Fatal traffic accident in Hung Hom

     Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Hung Hom this morning (November 3) in which an 83-year-old man was killed.

     About 6.20am, a private car driven by a 64-year-old man was travelling along southbound Princess Margaret Road. When approaching Oi Man Estate, it reportedly knocked down the 83-year-old man who was pushing a cart on the road.

     Sustaining serious injuries to his head, back and leg, the 83-year-old man was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) in unconscious state, and was certified dead at 7.09am. The private car driver felt unwell and was also sent to QEH for medical treatment.

     Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West are underway.
