Tender awarded for site in Fanling

     The Lands Department today (September 29) announced that the tender for a site, Fanling Sheung Shui Town Lot No. 255 at the junction of Luen Hing Street, Wo Fung Street and Luen Shing Street, Luen Wo Hui, Fanling, New Territories, has been awarded to Bright Land Development Limited (parent company: Sino Land Company Limited) on a 50-year land grant at a premium of $730 million.

     "Authority from the Central Tender Board was given to the Lands Department to award the site to the highest tenderer," a Lands Department spokesman said.

     The tenderers, other than the successful tenderer, in alphabetical order with the name of the parent company where provided by the tenderer in brackets were:

     Fanling Sheung Shui Town Lot No. 255 has a site area of about 2,828 square metres and is designated for non-industrial (excluding godown, hotel and petrol filling station) purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 11,701 sq m and 19,501 sq m respectively, both including the gross floor area of a public car park to be constructed by the purchaser. The total number of residential units to be built shall not be less than 250.
