Korean mobile and email marketing company uses Hong Kong as its Asia-Pacific headquarters

     Korean mobile and email marketing technology and services company Humuson International today (September 29) officially opened its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong as the company's first expansion into the region.

     The new headquarters in Hong Kong will help the company manage its different markets throughout the region, including Mainland China. The company also plans to set up offices in Singapore and Tokyo, plus other markets in Southeast Asia, in the coming months.

     The Chief Operations Officer of Humuson International, Mr Tony Lo, said, "We are very excited about the opening of our Asia-Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong, a strategic location for our expansion in this region. The launch today signifies our commitment to the region, which is a vital part of our global strategy."

     He added, "As a leader in mobile marketing technology and services in Korea for 15 years, we have market share of more than 90 per cent and 70 per cent, respectively, for mobile push messaging and email marketing. We believe we are strongly positioned to extend our success at home throughout the region. We are confident in our ability to set a new paradigm for customer experience and engagement for enterprises in Hong Kong and the region."

     Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion Mr Charles Ng welcomed Humuson International. He said, "Hong Kong has a sophisticated information and communications technology infrastructure with fast and reliable broadband networks. Also, it is strategically located in the centre of Asia and its proximity to Mainland China provides an excellent platform for overseas companies to manage their regional information technology projects in the city."
