Prospects Theatre to showcase writers' creativity in Playwright Scheme IX

Prospect Theatre's annual Playwright Scheme will again showcase writers' new works when it launches the 2014 edition in late October. The scheme is co-ordinated by Poon Wai-sum, with 22 playwrights staging performances based on their own work.

The playwrights come from various places including the Mainland and Hong Kong, with experienced actors, creative directors and renowned writers among them. The scheme offers opportunities for fresh artists to show their talent. The productions offer a creative mixture of stories based on daily life, presenting an exciting theatre chance for audiences to experience topical issues from alternative angles.
