Murder in Mong Kok

     Police are investigating a murder case in Mong Kok today (September 24) in which a 42-year-old man was killed.
 
     About 12.25pm, Police received a report that a man was attacked by another man with a knife in a restaurant at 175 Portland Street.
 
     Police sped to the scene and found the 42-year-old man lying unconscious in the restaurant. Sustaining multiple chop wounds, the man was rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital where he was certified dead at 12.47pm.
 
     Police later arrested the deceasedˇ¦s 37-year-old younger brother in Lok Ma Chau for murder and seized a knife in his possession. He is being detained for enquiries.
 
     Post-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death of the deceased.
 
     Active investigations by the Regional Crime Unit of Kowloon West are under way.
