The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced today (September 24) that the squash courts (No. 1 to No. 3) of Tai Hing Sports Centre in Tuen Mun District will be temporarily closed from October 3 to January 31, 2015, for upgrading the air-conditioning and venue refurbishment works. Other facilities in the Sports Centre will remain open as usual. During the closure period, the public may use similar facilities at the nearby Leung Tin Sports Centre, Yau Oi Sports Centre and Jockey Club Tuen Mun Butterfly Beach Sports Centre.
Moreover, the period of closure for the running track at Kwai Chung Sports Ground in Kwai Tsing District, where improvement works are in progress, has been revised as follows:
From today to September 28: Partial closure
From September 29 to October 4: Full closure
During the closure period, the public may use similar facilities at Tsing Yi Sports Ground or Wo Yi Hop Road Sports Ground in the same district.
For the most up-to-date closure schedules of the above leisure and sports facilities, the public may refer to the notices at the venues or contact venue staff direct.
