The Electoral Information Centre (EIC) of the Registration and Electoral Office (REO) on 10/F, Guardian House, 32 Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong, will be closed temporarily for relocation from tomorrow (September 18). Members of the public are welcome to visit the new EIC to be opened on September 23 on 13/F, Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre, 1 Trademart Drive, Kowloon Bay, Kowloon.
Featuring a display area with panels showing the voting process and elections in the past, a mock voting zone and an interactive computer game corner, the EIC helps visitors understand the electoral system and arrangements in an interactive manner. The EIC staff would also arrange talks on voter registration and the electoral system for visitors.
The EIC will be open to the public on Mondays to Fridays from 8.45am to 12.30pm and from 1.30pm to 6pm, except public holidays. Interested individuals and organisations may call the REO hotline (2891 1001) to arrange bookings, or submit the booking applications by fax (2891 1670) or email (eic@reo.gov.hk).
