The Education Bureau (EDB) today (July 21) reminded students who have completed online enrollment and on-site verification for the Scheme for Admission of Hong Kong Students to Mainland Higher Education Institutions that they should log on to the designated website during the designated period from July 26 to August 5 to check the admission results as well as submit and check the results of supplementary enrolment.
Students concerned should log on to the admission system at the website of the Co-Office of the Mainland Chinese Universities and Colleges of P.R. China for the Joint Examinations and Enrolment of the Students from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese-Resident Areas and Countries (Joint Enrolment Office) (Chinese version only) (www.ecogd.edu.cn) by clicking on "Hong Kong Students Application" under the menu "Joint Admission" using their candidate numbers, so as to check whether they have been admitted by the institutions they have enrolled in. Institutions will release first round admission results by batches in order of priority as follows:
1. release of first priority admission results by institutions - 6pm on July 26
2. release of second priority admission results by institutions - 6pm on July 28
3. release of third priority admission results by institutions - 6pm on July 29
4. release of fourth priority admission results by institutions - 6pm on July 30
Students who are not admitted during the first round but meet the minimum entrance requirements should complete supplementary enrolment through the admission system from August 1 (00:00) to August 2 (before 11.59pm). Students can choose two institutions and for each institution four programme choices during the supplementary enrolment stage. Students who have completed supplementary enrolment should log on to the admission system from August 4 to 5 to check whether they have been admitted by the institutions they have enrolled in. Institutions will release supplementary enrolment results by batches in order of priority as follows:
1. release of first priority supplementary enrolment results by institutions - 6pm on August 4
2. release of second priority supplementary enrolment results by institutions - 6pm on August 5
Students who have been admitted during the first round or supplementary enrolment stage should receive an acceptance letter from their respective institutions by post before the end of August. Students who have not received the acceptance letter by end August can contact the relevant institution directly for enquiry. Contact details of the institutions' student admission offices are listed in the programme directory of the Scheme (Chinese version only) on EDB's website (www.edb.gov.hk/expo13).
