Approved Kwun Tong (South) Outline Zoning Plan amended

     The Town Planning Board today (July 18) announced amendments to the approved Kwun Tong (South) Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).

     The amendments mainly involve the rezoning of a site abutting both Hiu Ming Street and Hiu Kwong Street from "Open Space" and "Green Belt" to "Residential (Group A)" with stipulation of building height restrictions. Opportunity is also taken to amend the Notes and Explanatory Statement of the OZP to reflect the above amendments and to update the general information of various land use zonings.

     The draft Kwun Tong (South) OZP No. S/K14S/19, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Town Planning Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters of the Planning Department in North Point and Sha Tin, the Kowloon District Planning Office and the Kwun Tong District Office.

     Any person can make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Town Planning Board on or before September 18. Representations made to the Town Planning Board will be available for public inspection.
