Two Legislative Council (LegCo) Members conducted a site visit to Kin Ming Estate in Tiu Keng Leng this afternoon (May 12) to follow up on a complaint case about the request for adding lifts or escalators in Kin Ming Estate.
Accompanied by representatives of the Housing Department, Members observed the use of the escalators connecting Upper and Lower Kin Ming Estate by the residents. Members also received a briefing by the representatives on the proposal and its feasibility of building additional escalators or lifts in the estate.
Members participating in the site visit were Mr Leung Kwok-hung and Mr Gary Fan.¡@They went back to the LegCo Complex after the site visit for a closed meeting between Members and representatives of the Administration which was joined by Professor Joseph Lee, Mr Chan Chi-chuen and Mr Christopher Cheung to follow up the case.
