The Legislative Council (LegCo) Delegation continued the duty visit to Shanghai this afternoon (April 12). The Delegation attended a seminar on "International developments and foreign policies" conducted by the President of China Institute of International Studies, Mr Qu Xing. Mr Qu briefed Members on the latest developments of China's foreign policy and discussed with them international issues of mutual concern.
In the evening, the Delegation visited the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, where Members received a briefing on the treatment of solid waste in Shanghai, and toured the multimedia exhibitions on themes relating to Shanghai's infrastructure planning and historical development.
The Delegation will continue the duty visit in Shanghai tomorrow and return to Hong Kong in the evening.
