Police today (March 20) appealed to the public for information on a fatal traffic accident in Kwun Tong on March 14 in which a 49-year-old woman died.
At about 12.05pm on that day, a light goods vehicle (LGV) driven by a 28-year-old man was travelling along Hoi Yuen Road towards Kwun Tong Ferry Pier. When approaching How Ming Street, the LGV reportedly knocked down the 49-year-old woman who was crossing the road.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the woman was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where she was certified dead at 7.33pm on March 16.
Active investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are under way.
