The Lands Department today (March 12) announced that the tender for a residential site, Lot No. 1681 in Demarcation District No. 243 at the junction of Pik Sha Road and Clear Water Bay Road, Sai Kung, New Territories, has been awarded to Ever Shine Development Limited (parent company: Letrich Property Limited) on a 50-year land grant at a premium of $160 million.
"Authority from the Central Tender Board was given to the Lands Department to award the site to the highest tenderer," a Lands Department spokesman said.
The tenderers, other than the successful tenderer, in alphabetical order with the name of the parent company where provided by the tenderer in brackets were:

Lot No. 1681 in Demarcation District No. 243 has a site area of about 1 242.7 square metres and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 448 sq m and 745.62 sq m respectively.
As for a residential site at Tai Po Town Lot No. 213 at Fo Chun Road, Pak Shek Kok, Tai Po, New Territories, the Government has rejected the seven tenders which were received when the tender closed on March 7.
"Authority from the Central Tender Board was given to the Lands Department to reject all the seven tenders received for the purchase of Tai Po Town Lot No. 213 as the tendered premiums do not meet the Government's reserve price for the site," the Lands Department spokesman said.
