The Town Planning Board today (March 7) announced amendments to the approved Pak Shek Kok (East) Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments mainly involved the rezoning of the "Other Specified Uses" annotated "Science Park" zone in the central part of Pak Shek Kok (East) to "Residential (Group B)6" and "Government, Institution or Community" to provide land for medium-density residential development and reflect an existing sewage pumping station at Fo Yin Road.
The draft Pak Shek Kok (East) OZP No. S/PSK/12 incorporating the amendments is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Town Planning Board; the Planning Enquiry Counters of the Planning Department in North Point and Sha Tin; the Sha Tin, Tai Po and North District Planning Office; the Tai Po District Office; the Sha Tin District Office; the Tai Po Rural Committee; and the Sha Tin Rural Committee.
Any person can make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Town Planning Board on or before May 7. Representations made to the Town Planning Board will be available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft Pak Shek Kok (East) OZP are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed at the Town Planning Board's website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb).
