The following is issued on behalf of the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund Task Force of the Commission on Poverty:

The Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund (SIE Fund) Task Force announced today (February 28) the invitation of proposals from interested organisations to take up the role of intermediaries to help deliver the two priority areas of the SIE Fund, namely Capacity Building and Innovative Programmes.

It aims to facilitate cross-sector collaboration and sharing of knowledge and experience to nurture social innovation and entrepreneurship for poverty alleviation. The SIE Fund Task Force is of the opinion that there are knowledgeable, experienced and credible practitioners in the social innovation space, and engaging them as intermediaries can maximise the impact of the Fund.
