The Legislative Council Secretariat (the Secretariat) today (February 12) launched the mobile application for the Legislative Council (LegCo App).
"The LegCo App provides a convenient way for members of the public to access information on the Legislative Council ("LegCo") in traditional Chinese, simplified Chinese and English. With the LegCo App installed on mobile devices, on-the-go users can access information about LegCo meetings and activities anytime and anywhere", said the Secretary General of the Secretariat, Mr Kenneth Chen, "it also provides a handy contact directory of Members".
Members of the public can obtain the following information through the LegCo App:
* Members' Contacts ¡V contact information of Members;
* LegCo Calendar ¡V schedule of LegCo meetings and activities; and
* LegCo Photo Gallery ¡V photos of Members' official events and activities.
It also provides links to the LegCo Website and LegCo Webcast.
The LegCo App is available free of charge. It supports devices running on Android (version 4.0.4 or later) and Apple iOS (version 5.0 or later). The links to download the LegCo App are available on the LegCo Website at www.legco.gov.hk/english/mobile-app.html.¡@
The LegCo App is the latest online service provided by the Secretariat following the launch of the LegCo YouTube Channel and LegCo Flickr photo album in January.
