Seminar for SMEs on "Developing Mainland Market - E-marketing and Intellectual Property (IP) Issues"

     The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will hold a seminar entitled "Developing Mainland Market - E-marketing and Intellectual Property (IP) Issues" on February 27 (Thursday).

     Speaker from Radica Systems Limited and Past President and Council Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Trademark Practitioners Limited Ms Peggy Cheung will explain how enterprises could use e-marketing to develop the Mainland market and related IP issues. There will also be an experience sharing session by two company representatives on their Mainland sales experience. They are the Chairman of Chaifa Holdings Limited (brand owner of Playboy in Hong Kong), Dr John Chan, and the Vice Chairman of Blue Box Holdings Ltd, Mr C K Yeung. This session will be moderated by the Senior Manager of the IP Centre of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, Mr P Y Chu.

     The seminar will be held at 2.30pm in the Lecture Theatre, G/F, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay (MTR Tin Hau station, exit B). The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free.
