Proposed retrofitting of noise barriers on Tuen Mun Road gazetted

     The Government published a notice in the Gazette today (January 30) on the proposed retrofitting of noise barriers on Tuen Mun Road (Fu Tei Section). The proposed works aim to mitigate the traffic noise along Tuen Mun Road between Brilliant Garden and Lam Tei Raw Water Pumping Station, and along Castle Peak Road - San Hui in front of Brilliant Garden.

     The proposed works are set out in the Annex. The plan and scheme of the works are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:

     Any person who wishes to object to the works or the use, or both, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 22/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong on or before March 31, 2014.
