The Leisure and Cultural Services Department today (January 21) announced that all public libraries and mobile libraries will close at 5pm on Lunar New Year's Eve (January 30), with the exception of North Lamma Public Library, which will close at 4.30pm, and other public libraries which are always closed on Thursdays.
All public libraries, mobile libraries and students' study rooms will be closed during the Lunar New Year public holidays from January 31 to February 2. Apart from Lek Yuen Public Library, Peng Chau Public Library, South Lamma Public Library, Tai O Public Library and Tin Shui Wai North Public Library which are closed on Mondays, the opening hours of other public libraries on February 3 will be the same as those for public holidays.
