The Deputy Secretary-General of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPCSC) cum Chairman of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Basic Law Committee (BLC) under the NPCSC, Mr Li Fei, and the Vice-Chairperson of the Legislative Affairs Commission of the NPCSC cum Vice-Chairperson of the BLC, Mr Zhang Rongshun, concluded their visit to Hong Kong this afternoon (November 23) and left Hong Kong for Beijing.
Before leaving Hong Kong, Mr Li met the media to give a roundup on his visit and respond to media questions.
At the invitation of the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mrs Carrie Lam, Mr Li and Mr Zhang visited Hong Kong from November 21 to 23 to exchange views with HKSAR officials and members of the community, including the Hong Kong Bar Association and the Law Society of Hong Kong, on issues relating to the Basic Law and the political structure of the HKSAR.
